Analytics Support in blogger by Google..

Blogger has made this now more easy to connect your Google Analyticsaccount with your blog. The traffic and visitor engagement statistics of your blog is one of the best ways to help it grow, and Google Analytics help you to track all the visits and other data related to visitors.

If you add Google Analytics to your blog, it will give you more insight into where your visitors are coming from and help you determine which content they engage with the most. It's an easy to use, powerful, free product that is used internationally by businesses large & small. Here's how to do this.

You need an Analytics Account and need to add your site to your account, and if you already have a Google Analytics account, simply add it with your blog at blogger. To do this, navigate to your blog’s Settings > Other tab and enter your blog's Google Analytics Web Property ID. Blogger will then insert Google Analytics code into your blog automatically, regardless of which template you're using, including mobile. You don't need manually add tracking code to your template.

Analytics generates tracking code for each web property (profile) you add to your account. The tracking code includes an ID for the web property. To find your Tracking Code and Web Property ID, login to your Analytics account and you can see this code in coming page. Your web-property ID is listed in the first few lines of the tracking code, and takes the form UA-XXXXX-Y or UA-XXXXX-YY.

Currently Google Analytics is supported on blogs using Dynamic Views, Layouts templates, and mobile templates, but not Classic templates. Because of the technical differences in how Blogger’s stats and Google Analytics collect data, you are likely to see some minor discrepancies between the two.

Google Analytics is the enterprise-class web analytics solution that gives you rich insights into your website traffic and marketing effectiveness. Powerful, flexible and easy-to-use features now let you see and analyze your traffic data in an entirely new way. With Google Analytics, you're more prepared to write better-targeted ads, strengthen your marketing initiatives and create higher converting websites.
